Hello friends and neighbors,
My name is Matt Siracusa, and I’m running to be your next Connecticut State Senator for District 3. I’m not a career politician—I’m a 34-year-old husband, father, and business owner, just like many of you. I face the same challenges that you do: overpriced groceries, skyrocketing gas prices, and mounting everyday bills. It’s become clear to me that the Democratic leadership has made living in Connecticut nearly impossible for the average person, and it's time for a change.
I have three beautiful daughters who I want to see grow up in a state where they can thrive. Like many of you, I’m deeply concerned about the direction Connecticut is headed. Our freedoms are being eroded, our taxes are through the roof, and our government is more intrusive than ever. As a conservative Republican, I believe in small government, lower taxes, and the protection of individual liberties.
I put my faith before everything I do. It guides my decisions, shapes my values, and reminds me every day to strive to be a better husband to my incredible wife and a better father to my daughters. My faith teaches me to serve others, to listen, and to act with integrity. These are the principles I will bring to the State Senate.
Why I’m Running
Connecticut is at a crossroads. For too long, we’ve seen policies that stifle economic growth, burden families with high costs, and limit our freedoms. I’m running because I believe we need to return to the principles that made our country great: personal responsibility, limited government, and economic freedom.
As a small business owner, I understand the struggles that come with trying to make ends meet. The red tape, the high taxes, and the bureaucratic obstacles are killing small businesses—the backbone of our economy. I will fight to cut taxes, reduce regulations, and create a business-friendly environment that allows entrepreneurs to succeed and create jobs.
Listening to You
I believe that the best solutions come from listening to the people. I want to hear your concerns, your ideas, and your hopes for the future. Too often, politicians get caught up in their own agendas and forget who they’re supposed to serve. I promise to be different. I will be accessible, transparent, and responsive. Your voice matters to me, and I want to be your advocate in Hartford.

Lower Taxes: I will work tirelessly to reduce the tax burden on families and businesses. You deserve to keep more of your hard-earned money.
Protecting Freedoms: I will stand up against government overreach and protect your constitutional rights. Freedom of speech, the right to bear arms, and religious liberty are non-negotiable.
Supporting Families: I will advocate for policies that strengthen families, from education reform to support for stay-at-home parents and working families alike.
Economic Growth: I will push for policies that promote job creation and economic growth. A strong economy benefits everyone.
My dream is to serve you and help bring back the American Dream. I want to ensure that our children have the same opportunities that we had—to live in a state where hard work is rewarded, where families can thrive, and where freedom is cherished.
All I ask is for the chance to serve you. Together, we can turn things around. Together, we can make Connecticut a place where everyone has the opportunity to succeed. I will listen to you, I will fight for you, and I will work tirelessly to bring about the change we need.
