In a world that often feels chaotic and divided, my journey in the political realm is anchored by my unwavering faith in Christ. It’s not merely a career or a duty; it’s a calling that has guided me through every step, from my time as Deputy Mayor of South Windsor to my current candidacy for State Senator of Connecticut's District 3.
A Divine Path to Public Service
My faith has always been the cornerstone of my life, shaping my values and guiding my decisions. It was this faith that led me to public service, recognizing the need to stand up for the freedoms that we hold dear. As Deputy Mayor of South Windsor, I had the incredible opportunity to witness firsthand the power of community and the importance of protecting our rights.
Now, as I stand ready to serve as your State Senator, I am filled with a sense of purpose and responsibility. The towns of Ellington, East Windsor, East Hartford, and South Windsor need strong leadership to ensure that our freedoms are not only protected but also cherished. I am committed to fighting for your rights, from the freedom to worship to the fundamental liberties that define our nation.
Sparrow Ministries: Faith in Action
One of the greatest lessons my faith has taught me is the importance of service to others. In Hartford, I founded Sparrow Ministries, a testament to my belief in serving the most vulnerable among us. Every Saturday morning, we provide breakfast to those experiencing homelessness, offering not just a meal but a sense of hope and community.
This ministry is more than an outreach program; it’s a manifestation of my faith in action. It embodies the principle that we are called to love and serve our neighbors, regardless of their circumstances. It’s this same principle that drives my desire to serve you in the Senate, where I will work tirelessly to ensure that every resident has the opportunity to thrive.
WEWOOL: Spreading Warmth Around the World
Another venture close to my heart is WEWOOL, a company I founded to bring warmth and comfort to those in need. We have distributed over 100,000 pairs of socks to individuals around the globe, reflecting our commitment to caring for our fellow humans. You can watch a video of our team in action here, showcasing the impact of our mission and the joy of giving.
WEWOOL isn’t just about providing socks; it’s about spreading a message of compassion and kindness. It’s about recognizing our shared humanity and the responsibility we have to support one another. This ethos is at the heart of my campaign and my vision for District 3.
